Outreach Privacy Notice

Applies to people Praesto Logica contacts about Praesto. Last updated October 7, 2026.

Summary

  • We are Praesto Logica LLC. We make Praesto, an app for lectures and meetings.
  • We wrote to you because your public work is about studying, note-taking, lectures or meetings, or the apps people use for them. You also published a way to reach you for work.
  • We found you on public pages. AI tools help us search. A person on our team reviewed your public pages before anyone wrote to you.
  • We keep a short record about you, such as your name, your public profile links, the contact address you published, where we found it, and our emails with you.
  • We contact only people who appear to be adults, and only people in the United States.
  • We do not sell your information, use it for ads, or use it to train AI models. Our emails contain no tracking pixels.
  • Reply "no thanks" to any of our emails and we stop. Thirty days later we delete our outreach record about you. We keep only copies of the emails we exchanged, and one-way codes made from your contact details and profile links, which keep us from writing to you again.
  • Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete what we hold.

1. Who We Are

Praesto Logica LLC ("we," "us") is responsible for the information this notice describes. We are a Virginia company.

  • Postal address: 1104 West Broad Street #1040, Falls Church, VA 22046, United States
  • Email: [email protected]

This notice covers the information we hold about anyone we contact about Praesto. If you also use Praesto, our Privacy Policy covers your account and your content.

2. Why We Contacted You

We look for people whose public work is close to what Praesto does. For example:

  • creators who make videos or posts about studying, note-taking or lectures;
  • writers and reviewers who cover study and meeting apps;
  • adult students, such as graduate students, who may want to represent Praesto at their school.

We write to ask whether you would like to try Praesto, review it, or work with us.

A person reads every outreach email before it goes out, and a person clicks Send for each one. We do not send these emails in bulk. If you do not answer, we send at most two short follow-ups. Then we stop. We may write once more, about something new, no sooner than 90 days later. If you do not answer that either, we do not write again.

3. What Information We Have

  • Your name, and how you describe your work in public (for example, "creator" or "reviewer").
  • The contact details you published for work, such as a business email address, and your public profile links, such as your channel or your website.
  • Where we found each contact detail: a link to the page and a short quote from it.
  • Public facts about your work: your profile headline, the country and region you state, the topics you cover, the titles and links of a few recent posts, and public audience numbers such as subscriber counts.
  • Organizations you name in public, such as your school, and your role there.
  • Our notes on why your work fits, and on our next step.
  • Whether you appear to be an adult. We use this only to avoid contacting anyone under 18.
  • Our emails to you and your replies, with their dates.

We do not look for sensitive information, such as health or financial details. We do not contact anyone who may be under 18. Before we write to a student, a person on our team checks that they are an adult, for example that they are in a graduate or professional program. If we learn that we hold information about someone under 18, we promptly delete it, except for the one-way codes described in Section 6, which keep us from contacting them later. A parent or guardian can tell us at [email protected].

4. Where the Information Comes From

  • Public pages that you or your organization published, such as your website, the About page of your channel, and your public social profiles.
  • YouTube's official data service, for public numbers about a YouTube channel.
  • Your replies to our emails.

AI research tools help us search public pages and suggest people. They read only public pages. Before we keep a suggestion, a person on our team reviews it. Our system also checks whether each suggested contact detail appears on the page it came from, and shows that person the result.

Someone on our team may also add you by hand, from a public page, or because someone referred us to you. Either way, we write only to a contact detail that you published for work, and we keep a link to where you published it.

We do not buy or rent contact lists.

5. How We Use It

  • To decide whether to contact you, and to write to you about Praesto.
  • To read your replies, answer them, and stop when you ask.
  • To show you what we hold, if you ask.

AI helps us draft our emails and sort the replies we get, for example to spot a "no thanks" or an out-of-office message. A person decides whom to contact and sends every email. A request to stop works even without AI.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use it to train AI models.

Our outreach emails are plain text. They contain no tracking pixels. We do not track whether you open these emails or click their links.

6. Your Choices

  • Stop our emails. Reply "no thanks" to any of our emails. "Stop," "unsubscribe" and "remove me" work too. We stop at once, and no follow-up goes out. Thirty days after you ask, we delete our outreach record about you, with one exception. So that we never write to you again, we keep your contact details and profile links on our do-not-contact list in a scrambled form, as one-way codes. A code does not show the address or link it came from. But anyone who has your address or link could check whether it is on our list, and a short item, such as a phone number, could be worked out from its code by trying every possible one. So we still treat the codes as information about you, and we protect them like the rest of our data. We use them only to keep us from contacting you, and we keep them for as long as we do outreach. We also keep copies of the emails we exchanged in our email account, as a record of our contact and of your request. Only our team can read them, and we delete them two years after our last exchange.
  • See what we hold. Email [email protected]. We will send you a copy.
  • Correct it. Tell us what is wrong at the same address.
  • Delete it. Ask us at the same address, and we delete our outreach record about you and the emails we exchanged. We keep only the one-way codes, so that we do not contact you again.
  • Object. You can object to our use of your information at any time. We will then stop using it.

We may need to confirm that a request comes from you. We will not hold a request against you.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact your state attorney general.

7. How Long We Keep It

Your situation When we delete your record
We never emailed you 180 days after we added you
We emailed you, and you did not reply 365 days after our last email
We talked, or you said no 730 days after our last exchange, or after our last update to your record
You asked us to stop 30 days after you asked. The one-way codes stay for as long as we do outreach.

Research notes about people we decided not to contact are deleted 60 days after we found them, or by the next day if they may be under 18 or asked us to delete them. We keep one-way codes of their contact details for 180 days, so that our research does not suggest them again, or for as long as we do outreach if we decided never to contact them. Numbers we get from YouTube's official data service are deleted within 30 days.

Copies of the emails we exchanged stay in our email account until two years after our last exchange, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Information we delete can stay in our encrypted backups for up to 35 days.

If you agree to work with us, for example as a reviewer or a campus representative, the terms we agree on also set how long we keep your information.

8. Who Else Handles It

These service providers process the information for us, under contracts that let them use it only for us:

Provider What it does for us What it sees
Microsoft Azure Hosts our servers and our database in the United States All of the information in Section 3
Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service Helps draft our emails and sort the replies The public facts used for a draft, our earlier emails with you, our team's notes for the draft, and the text of your replies
Google (Gmail, part of Google Workspace) Sends our emails and receives your replies Your email address, our emails and your replies
Anthropic, PBC Runs the AI research tool that searches public pages and suggests people to contact Public pages and what they say about you, our research brief, and our team's short notes on past suggestions

We also send YouTube's official data service, run by Google, the public channel links we look up, so that it can return the public numbers for those channels.

We share your information with no one else, unless the law requires it.

9. Where We Contact People and Process Information

We contact only people in the United States. Our database is in the United States. Some of our service providers may process or store this information in other countries: Microsoft and Anthropic may run the AI requests described in Section 8 in data centers outside the United States, and Google may store the emails in our email account outside the United States.

If you live outside the United States and we wrote to you by mistake, please tell us. We will delete your record, keeping only the one-way codes so that we do not write to you again.

10. Why We Use It

We use this information because we have a legitimate business reason to tell people whose public work is close to Praesto about it, and to work with them. We keep that use narrow: we use only a contact detail that you published for work, we keep a short record, and we stop as soon as you ask. You can object at any time (Section 6).

11. Automated Decisions

We make no decision about you by automated means alone that has a legal or similar effect on you. AI helps us search, draft and sort. People decide whom to contact.

12. Security

Only our staff who can sign in to our admin console or our outreach email account can see this information. We protect it in the same way as our app data (see Section 8 of our Privacy Policy). The key that lets our system use our email account is stored encrypted.

13. Changes to This Notice
